Texas Metal & Contracting

Most people asking about a metal building want the same four things answered before anything else: what it costs, what it sits on, how long it lasts, and whether it holds its value. This page collects our answers to those questions in one place, with links to the detail on each.

We do not publish a price list, because a 40×60 shop on level ground and a 40×60 home with plumbing, insulation and a finished interior are not the same job. What we can do is show you what drives the number, so the quote you get makes sense.

What it costs

Size is the starting point, not the finish. Foundation work, insulation, interior finish-out, doors and windows, and site access all move the total. These two go through the numbers in detail:

Lifespan and resale
